(QNO) - After two days of competition (March 31 and April 1), the semi-finals and finals of the city-level football tournament for the 2022-2023 school year organized by the Department of Education and Training of Tam Ky City ended with the championship belonging to the girls' team of Ngo Quyen Primary School and the boys' team of Phan Thanh Primary School.

In girls' soccer, Ngo Gia Tu Primary School won second prize; Nguyen Viet Xuan and Phan Thanh primary schools shared third prize.

In men's soccer, Tran Quoc Toan School won second prize; Nguyen Van Troi and Ngo Gia Tu primary schools shared third prize.

For girls' soccer at secondary school, the first prize went to Nguyen Du Secondary School; Le Loi Secondary School won the second prize; Nguyen Hue and Ly Tu Trong Secondary Schools won the third prize.

From the beginning of March, the teams will draw lots to divide into groups to compete in the qualifying round of primary school boys' and girls' soccer and secondary school girls' soccer; the group winner will be selected to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

There are 15 teams participating in primary school boys soccer, including 14 teams from primary schools in the city and the Academy School. There are 13 teams participating in primary school girls soccer; there are 10 teams participating in secondary school girls soccer.

Meanwhile, the Tam Ky City Secondary School Boys Football Tournament took place from March 23 to April 24. The tournament had 11 teams from 11 secondary schools in the city participating, divided into 2 groups. The teams competed in a round robin to calculate points and select the 2 teams that won first and second in each group to advance to the semi-finals and finals.
