Vietnam futsal team determined to win all 3 matches in Asian qualifiers

Speaking at the press conference, coach Diego Giustozzi emphasized the serious and thorough preparation of the team over the past month: “We have had 3 weeks of training in Vietnam, followed by 10 days of training in Kuwait and China. I think the whole team has been well prepared for this mission.”

Evaluating the opponents in the same group, China, Hong Kong (China) and Lebanon, the Argentine strategist frankly commented: “For me personally, this is a challenging group. There may be many different opinions about the level of the teams, but in my opinion, all three opponents are quality teams. This is certainly not an easy group.

The coaching staff always tries to prepare the players mentally for the competition. I believe in my players, and as long as they are confident in themselves, we will have nothing to worry about.”

For his part, fixo Pham Duc Hoa affirmed: "We players are all trying our best with the goal of passing the qualifying round with maximum points and the most convincing performances."

Before entering the tournament, the Vietnam futsal team had a very useful training trip in Kuwait. Here, the team played 2 friendly matches against the national team of the neighboring country and received 2 victories with scores of 3-2 and 3-1 respectively.

The opportunity to practice and compete with strong opponents in the recent preparation period is expected to help the Vietnamese futsal team gain great confidence when entering the tournament. The combination of experienced players and young players will be the foundation for coach Diego Giustozzi and his team to realize the goal set in Group E.
