economy , digital transformation is a vital factor helping enterprises, cooperatives and individual business households improve productivity, increase competitiveness and expand the market for OCOP products and rural industrial products...”
With flexible and modern methods, applying multi-channel e-commerce, integrating
digital technology to support businesses and production facilities to bring typical products to digital platforms, up to now, Quang Binh has hundreds of OCOP products, typical rural industrial products (CNNTTB) available on e-commerce platforms, such as: Buudien.vn, Voso.vn, Shopee, Tiki, Lazada...
Not only are these platforms new distribution channels, they also act as “gateways” to help local products reach consumers across the country, even in foreign markets through cross-border e-commerce export channels. These steps have contributed to increasing product value and enhancing consumer confidence, especially when competing in the digital environment, where transparency and quality are paramount.
If in the past, the cajeput oil-lemongrass oil product of Co Nguyet (Thuan Duc commune, Dong Hoi city) was only consumed in the province and some neighboring provinces through acquaintances, then since the application of e-commerce and digital media, the number of orders has increased many times. The owner of the production facility, Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet, said: "We have invested in designing packaging and labels for products to ensure safety, aesthetics and demonstrate brand value, creating QR codes to trace the origin, filming
videos introducing the production process, thanks to that, the product is trusted by many customers across the country and even overseas Vietnamese for its quality and ordered online."
Most visitors to Quang Binh enjoy the culinary experience of the famous rice noodle porridge dish. The main ingredient of the dish is rice noodle flour, produced from rice grains grown in fields rich in alluvium, so the quality is always delicious and rich in its own unique flavor. Quang Binh currently has 4 rice noodle flour products that meet OCOP standards, of which, the product of Kinh Huong Rice Noodle Flour Production Company Limited (Bac Trach Commune, Bo Trach) has been known to customers near and far thanks to the application of digital transformation, regularly updating products on digital platforms.
Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Phan Hoai Nam emphasized: “Quang Binh's typical products have great potential, but if they cannot keep up with technology, they will be limited in market and have low added value. On the contrary, if we know how to effectively utilize digital transformation, these products can completely reach far, not only enriching the people, but also spreading the local brand on the map of Vietnamese agricultural products. Digital transformation, therefore, is not only a lever but also a door for Quang Binh to integrate into the knowledge economy, innovate, create and develop sustainably.” |
Exploiting locally available raw materials, Quang Binh Digital Agriculture Cooperative (Loc Ninh Commune, Dong Hoi City) has invested in a factory system to produce and process clean food for the market, such as beef ram, shiitake mushroom chicken patties and biscotti with gai leaves. Three products of the Cooperative achieved OCOP in 2023, were recognized as CNNTTB products and won many other awards. Building a brand of clean products, ensuring quality, the Cooperative opened a clean store Luyen Hue Food to introduce products to consumers. The store also has space to display, introduce and sell OCOP products of Quang Binh. All products of Quang Binh Digital Agriculture Cooperative and products of members of the Quang Binh Agricultural Products Association are promoted and posted on websites, Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok and other media.
Mr. Ly Minh Luyen, Director of Luyen Hue Tech Technology Engineering Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Quang Binh Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Production and Export Association, shared: “The application of e-commerce has created an important breakthrough, helping production facilities and cooperatives promote their products, gradually building a solid brand in the national market. Production and business activities of enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities are also taking place more smoothly, opening up many opportunities for sustainable development in the digital age. Thanks to the application of digital technology, many enterprises and production facilities now know how to build fanpages, online booths, conduct livestream sales, use zalo, tiktok to introduce and promote products. This is a positive change, laying the foundation for a developing rural digital economic ecosystem”.
