Tuyen Hoa: Releasing 64 thousand fish fry in the upper Gianh River

(QBĐT) - On May 30, Tuyen Hoa district released 64,000 fish fry to restore aquatic resources in the upper Gianh River, through Thanh Hoa and Lam Hoa communes.

Of the 64,000 fingerlings released, 32,000 were released into the river section through Thanh Hoa commune and 32,000 were released into the river section through Lam Hoa commune. The types of fish released this time include 10,000 grass carp, 12,000 bighead carp, 12,000 common carp and 30,000 Gift tilapia. The total value of the fingerlings released this time is over 200 million VND.

This is an annual activity with practical significance to restore and raise awareness of protecting aquatic resources, contributing to creating livelihoods and increasing income for local people in the coming time.
