During the past term, the Nhon Chau Commune Party Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of the targets set out in the Resolution of the 15th Congress for the 2020-2025 term. The Party Committee admitted 27 new Party members, reaching 180% of the target. Every year, the percentage of Party cells that excellently complete their tasks is 18-20%, and the percentage of Party cells that well complete their tasks is 65-70%; the Commune Party Committee is classified as having completed its tasks well.
In addition, socio -economic development has been effectively implemented. The commune Party Committee has focused on mobilizing fishermen to stay at sea to produce and exploit seafood, with an annual catch of 2,280 tons; aquaculture models harvest an average of 45 tons/year; processing activities continue to be maintained. In the past 5 years, the commune has welcomed more than 52,000 tourists, with an average income per capita of 63 million VND/person/year.
With the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress discussed and approved the goals and targets for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, strive for 100% of Party cells to complete their tasks, over 90% of Party cells to complete their tasks well, and develop new Party members at 3% or more. The target by 2030 is that the total commune budget revenue will reach 300 million VND; the growth rate of product value in the 2026-2030 period will reach 10.1%/year, of which agriculture, forestry and fishery will increase by 0.7%, industry and construction will increase by 10%, and services will increase by 10.4%; maintain the commune with no poor households and no near-poor households by the end of the term.
Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang praised the results achieved by the Party Committee and People of Nhon Chau commune in the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee of Nhon Chau commune in the new term to be united and creative in leading and directing the implementation of targets, attaching importance to the key task of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects; building a "government that creates and serves the people and businesses"; promoting administrative reform; applying science and technology, innovation and digital transformation, promoting the development of the digital economy, digital society, digital government, etc.
With a particularly important position as an outpost island commune of the province, comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the Party Committee of Nhon Chau commune to closely combine the task of socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on planning, resource management, effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of the locality, focusing on developing the marine economy associated with tourism. The goal is to strive to bring Nhon Chau to the standard of a model new rural area, contributing to building an increasingly spacious and modern appearance of the commune.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing the Party Executive Committee of Nhon Chau commune, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 17 comrades; appointing the following comrades: Nguyen Tien Dung to hold the position of Party Secretary of the commune, Ho Nhat Le to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; Duong Hiep Hung to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune; Dang Ngoc Hoan to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the commune.
