On June 18, in Bac Yen district, comrade Le Hong Minh, Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee, inspected the progress of renovation and upgrading of the road connecting National Highway 37 (Bac Yen district) with National Highway 279D (Muong La district).

The project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting National Highway 37 with National Highway 279D has a total length of 69.2km, invested by the Son La Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board. The section passing through Bac Yen district is 47.2km long, and up to now, 2.78km has not yet been handed over to the contractor. To implement the project, Bac Yen district has 938 households in 3 communes of Phieng Ban, Chim Van, Pac Nga within the affected area. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center has completed the preparation and submission for approval of 13 compensation and site clearance plans with a total of 753 households. Up to now, 372 households have not yet prepared a compensation and site clearance plan to submit for approval, of which 278 households have not yet had a solution.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches, and the People's Committee of Bac Yen district to focus on resolving problems related to land acquisition, compensation plans for waste disposal sites, some assets, and constructions attached to land; continue to review and speed up the progress of establishing, appraising, approving plans and organizing compensation payments; contractors to speed up the construction progress of sections where the site has been handed over; focus on removing obstacles to ensure the project's progress...
