Speaking at the meeting, EVNNPT General Director Pham Le Phu said EVNNPT hopes to use the working session to remove difficulties and obstacles for a number of grid development projects that the Corporation is implementing in the province.
The delegates listened to the report on the investment situation of the electricity sector in the province in the past time. Accordingly, EVNNPT is currently implementing the investment projects: 500kV Hai Phong - Thai Binh line; 500kV Thai Binh transformer station; 500kV Hung Yen 1 transformer station and 500kV, 220kV connecting lines; 220kV Thai Binh - Thanh Nghi line; 220kV Bai Say transformer station, 220kV Bai Say - Kim Dong line.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy requested departments, branches and localities to clarify some issues that EVNNPT is concerned about such as: Some projects facing difficulties and problems related to site clearance; adjusting the route of the 500kV Hai Phong - Thai Binh line; location of excess soil and rock dumped during construction.
In his concluding remarks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy acknowledged the contributions of the electricity sector to the province's development in recent times. Given the rapid development and increasing demand for electricity, investment in power transmission projects is essential. He requested departments, branches, sectors and localities to continue to closely coordinate with investors, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and ensure project progress. In particular, site clearance work needs to be focused on and strive to be completed in August 2025. At the same time, EVNNPT is requested to send staff to coordinate directly with commune authorities to speed up the progress of inventory and compensation. Immediately after the site is handed over, it is necessary to mobilize construction forces quickly to avoid new problems.
