In Vietnam, earthquakes of magnitude 4-5 are considered minor earthquakes. When an earthquake occurs, objects in the house vibrate and make noise. Many people feel the earthquake. People outside the house feel a slight vibration.
Generally these earthquakes cause no damage or minor damage. Moderate to significant damage is rare. Some objects in houses fall.
The average frequency of earthquakes worldwide is 10,000 - 15,000 per year.
Meanwhile, earthquakes of magnitude 3-4 are considered weak earthquakes, felt by some people, but rarely cause damage. You may notice objects in the house shaking.
