Long Khánh City, Đồng Nai Province, prioritizes and focuses on developing a green, civilized, safe, and modern urban environment, becoming a "model" green city in Đồng Nai today.

Located in the southeastern part of the province, Long Khánh City has the advantage of being a regional transportation gateway, connecting with the Southeast and Central Highlands regions via the railway line, National Highway 1, National Highway 56, and the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thành - Dầu Giây and Dầu Giây - Phan Thiết expressways.

The revised master plan for the construction of Long Khánh city until 2040, with a vision to 2050, identifies urban management and the construction of a green, civilized, safe, and modern city.

Accordingly, Long Khánh prioritizes investment in infrastructure development, especially a modern and synchronized transportation system, which will contribute to expanding development space and connecting the city with neighboring areas in terms of economy , culture, and society.

Long Khánh city currently has a green cover rate of 71%.

In the process of developing green urban areas, environmental factors are identified as core elements, as the primary requirement is to create a good living environment for the people.

With that orientation, Dong Nai province has implemented many timely and flexible policies to enable Long Khanh to take the lead in building a green, safe, civilized, and modern city; helping Long Khanh city achieve many goals ahead of schedule, including aiming for Net Zero, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions, building a green city, and promoting green growth.
