The outstanding literary and artistic works honored were selected from nearly 200 works by Dong Nai artists sent to the Organizing Committee. These are works that converge all the ideological themes, artistic qualities, aesthetic values and have won high awards at the provincial, regional, national and international levels.
The work honored this time has been published, announced, creating a widespread, deep, social effect, showing a panoramic picture of Dong Nai literature and art throughout 50 years after the country's reunification.
As one of the representatives of the families of outstanding artists receiving the honor, Mr. Hoang Binh Long, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Radio and Television Station, son of the late writer Hoang Van Bon, former Chairman of Dong Nai Province Literature and Arts Association shared: "In 2007, my father was posthumously awarded the State Prize for Literature and Arts. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, receiving this honor, the family feels very touched, thanking Dong Nai Province for always caring, recognizing and appreciating my father's contributions to the province's literature and arts."
