Electrical equipment at the gates of Phu Quy School and Binh Chau Primary School No. 2 were also damaged. The lightning strike also burned out the light bulbs in the classrooms. Fortunately, at the time of the incident, 95 students and teachers at the school were already in class, so there were no casualties. The school quickly resolved the initial incident and stabilized the students' psychology.
