Asphalt pavement on the bridge route, Ben Tre province side.
Specifically, the road section under construction is 100% of the entire length of the route 14/14km, about 9.6/9.8km is being unloaded, reaching 98%, the crushed stone layer is being constructed for 13.8/14km (98%), and asphalt concrete is being spread in each segment reaching 12/14km. The entire route section on the Ben Tre province side and the approach road to Rach Mieu 2 Bridge will be completed before June 30, 2025.
Regarding the bridge section on the route, 4/6 bridges have been completed including: Xoai Hot Bridge, My Tho Bridge, Tam Son Bridge and Ba Lai Bridge. The remaining 2 bridges are under construction including Rach Mieu 2 main bridge and Song Ma bridge, of which Song Ma bridge will be completed before June 2025.
The main bridge - Rach Mieu 2 bridge is under construction of guardrails, median strips, lighting, and bridge deck expansion joints.
The main bridge section - Rach Mieu 2 bridge has been closed on April 19, 2025. Currently, the finishing items are being constructed such as: guardrail, median strip, lighting, bridge deck expansion joints, and fire prevention and fighting system.
According to the plan of My Thuan Project Management Board, it is expected that by June 30, 2025, all 5/5 bridges on the route will be completed and the approach roads will be basically completed. Strive to complete the project in August 2025 to put it into operation before September 2, 2025.
