Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park has an area of 244.74 hectares, total capital of over 2,590 billion VND
The Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park project was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1420/QD-TTg, dated August 20, 2021; Decision No. 9267/QD-UBND, dated September 22, 2021 of the Long An Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park, Tan Tap Commune, Can Giuoc District, invested by Saigontel Long An Company Limited.
The entire industrial park has an area of 244.74 hectares, with a total capital of over VND2,590 billion. Of which, the existing projects have been leased land by the Provincial People's Committee to 6 secondary investors before, the area to be cleared is nearly 160 hectares.
According to the People's Committee of Can Giuoc district, the locality has issued Decision No. 7753/QD-UBND, dated December 26, 2022, approving the compensation, support and resettlement plan for the project. According to the plan, the project has 1,498 affected households, with an area of over 158 hectares, the compensation amount is about 2,112 billion VND.
As of September 13, 2023, Saigontel Long An Company Limited has transferred a total amount of over 938 billion VND to pay households, but the company only agreed that this amount will only be paid to households in areas B3, B4, and the project's entrance.

Up to now, the project has compensated 618 households/77.58ha with the amount of 863 billion VND, reaching 55.84% of the area (the remaining amount is over 75 billion VND, the reason for the remaining amount is according to the company's opinion and currently, the locality is continuing to make payments according to the plan for areas B3, B4, and the access road).
Currently, the project has nearly 300 households registered to receive money with a total amount of over 350 billion VND, of which, there are 77 cases (outside areas B3, B4, access road) with an amount of over 93.23 billion VND with very difficult circumstances. The locality has worked with and requested the investor to transfer funds to pay compensation, but the money has not yet been transferred to pay compensation to the people, leading to slow progress in compensation and site clearance of the project, causing frustration.
In addition, the investor has committed to take responsibility for the late payment fee as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 93 of the 2013 Land Law. However, currently, the company has not transferred the additional payment fee to the people as prescribed./.
