Billion-dollar hospital and school construction project: Accelerating to the finish line

Present at a number of new hospital and school construction projects with total investment ranging from hundreds to thousands of billions of VND, we noted that many engineers, workers and laborers are working hard to "overcome the sun and rain" to work in 3 shifts and 4 shifts to complete the projects by the end of this year.

There are hospital projects that have put some items into use, creating trust and attracting many people to come for medical examination and treatment. These are key projects of the city towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Worker Nguyen Thi Lan shared: "We are working hard, regardless of holidays, to soon put the construction of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (campus 2) into use on April 30, 2025."

Project to build a new Thu Duc Regional General Hospital (Thu Duc City), with technical infrastructure scale meeting 1,000 beds and modern inpatient scale of 500 beds. The project has a total investment of 1,915 billion VND from the Ho Chi Minh City budget.

The project to build a new Vinh Loc A Secondary School (Binh Chanh District) after 7 months of construction has completed classrooms E and F.

Cu Chi Regional General Hospital completed 100% of construction and installation volume, green areas... in time to put into use on April 30, 2025. The hospital has a total investment of 1,800 billion VND from the Ho Chi Minh City budget.

Hoc Mon Regional General Hospital has completed the construction of Area A (500 beds), Area B has reached 85% progress, with a total investment of 1,895 billion VND. The hospital will be put into operation on April 30, 2025.

Many modern equipment, testing machines... are equipped for some new hospitals.
