Tourists coming to Da Nang by train enjoy taxi discounts

On July 31, the Da Nang Department of Tourism said that in order to contribute to attracting more tourists to the city by rail, taxi companies operating at Da Nang Station have joined together to implement a preferential program for all passengers arriving at Da Nang Station on all North-South trains passing through Da Nang Station (including the "Central Heritage Connection" train route Da Nang - Hue) and traveling for sightseeing, accommodation, dining, shopping... from Da Nang Station.

Accordingly, Vietnam Green Sun Joint Stock Company (Vinasun Green taxi) and Phu Hoang Transport & Service Joint Stock Company - Tien Sa Taxi apply a 10% discount when customers travel from Da Nang Station to locations within Da Nang city (including accommodation, sightseeing, shopping, dining...) and 10% when customers travel from Da Nang Station to locations outside of Da Nang city (Hoi An, My Son...).

Promotional period is until December 31, 2024. Promotional application form: applicable on the same day for customers presenting the train ticket stub/online train QR code used on that day.

It is known that in the first 6 months of 2024, Da Nang Station welcomed and saw off 662,261 passengers, equal to 146% over the same period.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in the first 7 months of 2024, the total number of visitors served by accommodation establishments is estimated at more than 6.6 million, an increase of more than 32% over the same period in 2023, with revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel estimated at more than VND 20,000 billion, an increase of more than 29% over the same period in 2023./.
