Although many plum blossom gardens have withered, the number of tourists coming to Moc Chau has not shown any signs of decreasing, especially on weekends.

The plum blossom garden has been open to visitors for 3 years now, but this is the year the plum blossoms are most beautiful, so Bich Hanh tourist garden attracts the most visitors.
Mr. Vu Trung Hai (garden owner) said: Although the number of visitors has increased, ticket prices and room rates have not increased compared to other months of the year.
According to Mr. Hai, the entrance fee to the plum blossom garden is 30,000 VND/adult and free for all children. The average price of a homestay room is from 600,000 - 800,000 VND.
"On average, our garden welcomes nearly 1,000 visitors per day. During the last two peak weeks, revenue reached 300 - 500 million VND. The plum blossom season is expected to last about 10 more days."
In addition, gardeners also cooperate with shops to rent traditional costumes at a price of 50,000 - 250,000 VND/set, and provide makeup and on-site photography for tourists.
According to the Department of Culture and Information of Moc Chau town, from the 3rd day of Tet (January 31, 2025) to now, Moc Chau has welcomed more than 250,000 tourists to visit and take photos of plum blossom season.
The number of visitors per day is about 10,000 and doubles on weekends.
Talk to PV VietNamNet , Ms. Dinh Thi Huong, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Moc Chau town, said: It is estimated that from January 1 to the end of February, Moc Chau is expected to welcome nearly 1 million visitors. Moc Chau's total social revenue is about 1,200 billion VND.
Moc Chau town has about 300 tourist accommodation establishments such as hotels, motels, and homestays. Therefore, this number is not enough to serve the surge in visitors compared to the same period last year.
According to the reporter's records, all accommodation facilities are operating at full capacity, some of which are fully booked because guests have booked rooms until the end of February.
Therefore, the town government Moc Chau Tourists are advised to book rooms before traveling to Moc Chau.
In addition, the locality also coordinates with tourism businesses to quickly and accurately update information on plum blossoms and accommodation facilities that are still available or fully booked.
At the same time, mobilize households with vacant rooms to use as accommodation if they meet the required conditions.
