The Fireworks Festival has become a "specialty", contributing to attracting tourists to Da Nang .
On the final night (July 13), accommodation facilities in Da Nang served an estimated 90,017 guests, including 30,970 international guests. The city’s room capacity was almost at its maximum, with an occupancy rate of up to 95%. The capacity of cruise ships reached 100% - an absolute rate.
It can be seen that DIFF 2024 has become the focal event that has created an explosive summer in Da Nang, helping the city of the Han River maintain its throne as a leading tourist destination in the country. This is also an event that shows the strong participation of private enterprises and the determination of Da Nang city in organizing a festival of international scale and quality, affirming the brand of Asia's leading festival destination.
Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh affirmed that, held since 2008, the Fireworks Festival has become an event with its own unique and attractive brand of Da Nang. In addition, the city also constantly renews itself with new and attractive cultural and tourism products so that every visitor coming here will feel the festive and event atmosphere that is always filled in this beautiful and dynamic coastal city.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Chairman of Sun Group Central Region: "When witnessing the joy of Da Nang people as well as tourists coming to Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, we feel extremely proud. The cost of hundreds of billions of VND that we invested in the festival is completely worth it to see ourselves as a responsible enterprise to the locality, and valuable when contributing a small part to Da Nang city in particular and Vietnam tourism in general".
It took a whole year to prepare the script and deploy, with more than 2,000 employees from Da Nang city, including nearly 400 employees from Sun Group Corporation, DIFF 2024 was a great success and made an important contribution to promoting the city's socio-economic development.
