Turning Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex into an attractive tourist area

On July 10, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 821/QD-TTg approving the Task of establishing a Plan to preserve, restore and renovate the Trang An - Tam Coc - Bich Dong National Special Scenic Landscape, Ninh Binh Province.

According to the approval, the planning scale includes the entire area of ​​the Trang An - Tam Coc - Bich Dong National Special Scenic Area within the scope of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Trang An Scenic Complex recognized by UNESCO with a total area of ​​9,663 hectares. The nature of the planning area is a National Special Scenic Area belonging to the World Cultural and Natural Heritage Trang An Scenic Complex; a tourist area with the potential to develop into a national tourist area.

The planning objective is to preserve the outstanding global values ​​of the heritage, concretize the strategies and development orientations of Ninh Binh province, and implement Vietnam's commitment to UNESCO in the work of preserving and promoting the value of the heritage. Heritage conservation is harmoniously combined with sustainable development, making Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, Ninh Binh province, one of the attractive tourist areas of Vietnam and the world, the driving force for the development of Ninh Binh province and the Northern Delta region. At the same time, it is necessary to determine the boundaries and zoning of the relic protection area; determine the functions and land use indicators for the areas; organize the space, arrange the technical infrastructure system suitable for the stages of preserving and promoting the value of the relic; create a legal basis for the implementation, approval and management of planning and projects; develop mechanisms and policies, attract investment resources, promote the role of the community in the work of preserving, embellishing and promoting the value of the heritage.
