Duc Lap bustling National Great Unity Day

Attending the festival were Standing Committee member, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Nguyen Thanh Vung; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Dang Thi Ngoc Mai; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Phan Thi Thuy Van, along with local leaders and a large number of people in the area.

At the program, delegates reviewed the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; watched a video clip on the results of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in 2025, the direction and tasks in 2026 and the results of implementing the convention of cultural hamlets and residential areas.

Duc Hanh 1 Hamlet currently has 635 households with 2,444 people. In recent times, the implementation of the campaign has achieved many positive results, contributing to the renewal of the rural landscape. The infrastructure system has received investment attention, production and livestock activities have developed stably, people's lives have gradually improved; the rate of households achieving the title of Cultural Family reached 97.5%.

The people in the hamlet actively participated in building rural infrastructure, typically maintaining 4 bright - green - clean - beautiful roads; concreting 1 road and installing 12 solar lights with a total cost of more than 1.7 billion VND. In addition, a charity house worth 60 million VND was given to a household in difficult circumstances. The spirit of solidarity and mutual support continued to spread through the activity of giving 695 gifts to policy families, poor households, near-poor households and disadvantaged students with a total value of over 220 million VND.

Speaking at the Festival, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Nguyen Thanh Vung acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the residential area. He requested the Party Committee, the government of Duc Lap commune and the Hamlet Front Work Committee to continue promoting the strength of national solidarity, promoting patriotic emulation movements, building a civilized and comprehensively developed residential area. At the same time, focusing on applying technology, guiding people to participate in digital transformation, bringing digital space into life, contributing to improving the quality of the community.

Individuals receiving awards

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province supported the residential area with 15 million VND; the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duc Lap commune supported 5 million VND to encourage the movement of solidarity and community development.

Provide support to children in difficult circumstances

Many individuals with achievements in implementing the campaign received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Duc Lap Commune. The locality also presented many gifts to disadvantaged households, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and solidarity in the community./.
