“Everyone knows Xuan Son’s level. To evaluate, Son is a very special player, a good striker, good at scoring goals. I also often talk to Son to share and encourage each other in training. Son is a very professional person, and certainly at this time he is eager to contribute his best to the Vietnam team,” captain Do Duy Manh shared during the training session on the afternoon of November 14.
In the eyes of his teammates, Xuan Son returned with the spirit as if he had never left the field. In many training sessions, he appeared excited, running tirelessly and ready to participate in all high-intensity exercises. “As a player, not being able to play football for a long time is the worst thing. Son has tried very hard to regain what he once had,” Duy Manh added.
The images Xuan Son posted on social media, from the moments of working out at the gym, running for recovery to running with the Vietnamese team, clearly showed his determination. For the players, it was not only a personal story, but also a great encouragement for the whole team before entering the match with Laos.
Updating the team's situation, Duy Manh said: "The Vietnamese team is currently experiencing a harsh competition schedule in the V.League, but the coaching staff has made many adjustments to the physical load. The atmosphere in the team is positive, the players are in good spirits and ready to move towards the set goals."
The player born in 1996 affirmed: “We are the representatives of Vietnam in international competitions, the responsibility on our shoulders is huge. Therefore, the whole team always tries hard and follows the coaching staff's training plan to bring victory to the fans.”
