Responding to the trend of comprehensive digital transformation, on May 23, 2025, Eximbank officially deployed the new Core Card system (New CMS) on the Way4 platform of OpenWay - the world's leading Core Card solution provider headquartered in Belgium. This system inherits existing functions and adds many outstanding improvements, including supporting a variety of cards such as debit, credit, prepaid, virtual and co-branded cards. The card issuance process is fully automated from the application stage to approval and card issuance, shortening processing time and minimizing manual errors.

Outstanding utilities and practical benefits for customers

The new Core Card system allows customers to use self-service services such as locking/unlocking cards, re-issuing PINs, and managing spending via Eximbank EDigi and EBiz digital banking applications. The security system is upgraded with EMV, PCI DSS and 3D Secure standards, real-time notification of card transactions via OTT helps minimize fraud risks and maximize user benefits. In addition, loyalty programs, cashback and personalized incentives are designed to be automated, helping customers receive real value from the card.

In addition, Eximbank has developed new digital card products such as Virtual Card, flexible installment payment service on card balance and cash transactions, along with the ability to quickly issue cards online, contributing to diversifying choices and convenience for users.
