Mr. Huynh Tan Chau, Principal of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted ( Phu Yen ), said: "On the occasion of November 20, parents and students all carry the "burden" of gifts for teachers, but not every family has the means, especially those in difficult circumstances. To get rid of the idea of having to receive gifts from parents and students, so that everyone can have a new perspective on November 20, the school decided to give gifts to students so that teachers and students can gather and share the joy of Vietnamese Teachers' Day."
This is the second consecutive year the school has given gifts to students.
According to Mr. Chau, this is the second consecutive year the school has given gifts to students, the money is taken from socialized sources and support from former students. For him and his colleagues, students who are good-natured, studious, and become talented, virtuous people who are useful to society are the most precious gifts.
Receiving gifts from the school, students and teachers held a party on November 18.
"This is the second year we have received gifts from the school on November 20. With the amount of 50,000 VND, we pooled together to buy milk tea and candy to celebrate with our teachers. The gifts are very practical and meaningful. This is also an opportunity for us to share and send our best wishes to our teachers, who have guided and educated us to become good people," said Tran Le Vi (11th grade student, Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted).
Teachers and students of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted had a warm and meaningful party on November 20.
On this occasion, this afternoon (November 20), Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted organized the awarding of 51 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND, to the school's students participating in the province's national excellent student team.
