The emulation movements "Coast Guard competes in innovation and digital transformation" and "Digital education for the masses" are identified as key and continuous tasks in 2025 and the following years.

Accordingly, each officer, soldier, agency and unit in the entire Navy Squadron is determined to always uphold the spirit of responsibility, initiative and creativity in effectively applying information technology to all aspects of work. From document management to organizing activities, digital transformation must be gradually carried out, aiming at the goal of "each officer and soldier is an innovative factor; each unit is a bright spot of creativity". Specific targets are also clearly set out, such as promoting initiatives, technical improvements, organizing the digitization of professional documents, effectively operating electronic data management systems to serve management, command, operation and professional work.

Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Minh Hien, Party Secretary, Political Commissar, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Squadron 42 launched the emulation movement.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Minh Hien emphasized: The launch of this emulation movement is an activity to concretize the policies and resolutions of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Coast Guard Command on promoting innovation, applying science and technology, implementing digital transformation and popularizing digital education in the Vietnam People's Army. This is a specific and practical step in improving the overall quality, combat strength, building the Navy, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command, the "Revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern" Coast Guard force, successfully completing the assigned political tasks.

Representatives of agencies and units of Navy Division 42 signed the emulation covenant.

The launch of this emulation movement has affirmed the political determination of the Party Committee and the command of Squadron 42 in promoting the application of digital transformation, promoting the power of innovation and creativity associated with the regularization and modernization of the Coast Guard force. At the same time, this is also an important premise to contribute to building a contingent of officers and soldiers with strong political will, digital thinking, digital capacity and digital culture, well meeting the requirements and tasks of protecting the sovereignty, security and order of the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
