The emulation movements "Coast Guard Emulation in Innovation and Digital Transformation" and "Digital Literacy for the People" have been identified as key, overarching tasks for 2025 and the following years.

Accordingly, every officer, soldier, and every agency and unit within the entire Naval Brigade is committed to upholding a high sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and creativity in effectively applying information technology to all aspects of their work. From document management to organizing activities, everything must gradually undergo digital transformation, aiming for the goal of "each officer and soldier being an innovative force; each unit being a shining example of creativity." Specific targets have also been clearly set, such as promoting initiatives and technical improvements, digitizing professional documents, and effectively operating electronic data management systems to serve management, command, control, and professional work.

Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Minh Hien, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar, and Chairman of the Emulation and Commendation Council of Naval Squadron 42, launched the emulation movement.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Minh Hien emphasized: The launch of this emulation movement is a concrete implementation of the policies and resolutions of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , and the Coast Guard Command on promoting innovation, applying science and technology, implementing digital transformation, and popularizing digital education in the Vietnam People's Army. This is a concrete and practical step in improving overall quality, combat strength, building the Coast Guard Region 4 Command and the Coast Guard force into a "revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern" force, and successfully fulfilling assigned political tasks.

Representatives from the agencies and units of Naval Squadron 42 signed a competition agreement.

The launch of this emulation movement affirms the political determination of the Party Committee and the command of Naval Squadron 42 in promoting the application of digital transformation, leveraging the power of innovation associated with building a regular and modernized Coast Guard force. At the same time, this is also an important prerequisite for building a team of officers and soldiers with strong political resolve, digital thinking, digital capabilities, and a digital culture, effectively meeting the requirements and tasks of protecting the sovereignty, security, and order of the sacred seas and islands of the Fatherland.
