Nearly 150 sports students attend training course on new rural construction

The training course had the participation of 147 trainees who are cultural and social officials, collaborators in charge of physical education and sports of communes, wards, towns and districts, cities and towns in Nghe An province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: Participating in the training program, the team of officials in charge of physical education and sports in localities will be equipped with skills and expertise to proactively develop plans to guide the organization of sports training at the grassroots level. Thereby, ensuring professional requirements, diverse in form, attractive in content, suitable to the actual situation, developing the cause of mass physical education and sports in the current period, contributing to the development of the national target program on building new rural areas with criteria on culture and sports.

The training course will take place from April 23 to 27, 2025 with many topics and lectures by sports lecturers from the Central and Nghe An province, the delivery method includes theory and practice.

On the first day, April 23, students will listen to two topics: "Viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on physical education and sports" and "Basic physical education and sports work; methods of developing plans, regulations of sports competitions and instructions on organizing mass physical education and sports competitions" taught directly by Dr. Ta Hong Hai - Director of Ba Dinh Sports Center, Vietnam Sports Department.
