Nearly 2,000 cases of alcohol concentration violations in 2 hours of testing nationwide

QNgTV- Checking alcohol concentration within a fixed time frame, Traffic Police nationwide handled 1,927 cases in just two hours at noon on October 19. The rate of violations decreased slightly, but the age group of 36-55 still had the highest rate of violations.

Continuing to implement the directive of the Director of the Traffic Police Department to check alcohol concentration within a certain time frame, on October 19, the Traffic Police force of 34 local Public Security conducted alcohol concentration control between 12:30 and 14:30.

Within 2 hours, the force tested the alcohol concentration of 58,187 drivers. Thereby, 1,927 violations were detected and recorded, accounting for 3.3%.

Thus, the violation rate has decreased slightly compared to the number of the first day (October 18) of this special inspection (3.43%). Analyzing the age of violations, the Traffic Police Department said that there were 40 cases of people under 18 years old (accounting for 2.1%); 466 cases of people from 18 to 35 years old (accounting for 24.2%); 1,049 cases of people from 36 to 55 years old (accounting for 54.4%), including 1 female motorcyclist; 372 cases of people over 55 years old (accounting for 19.3%).
