The competition took place in a vibrant and practical atmosphere to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day. The activity contributed to spreading the spirit of physical training and preserving and promoting the value of traditional Vietnamese martial arts.
According to Senior Martial Arts Master Nguyen Bich Phuong, Vice President of the Provincial Traditional Martial Arts Association, the quality of martial arts students this year has shown significant improvement in both technique and competitive spirit. Many students who took the ranking exams have a solid foundation and can become the next generation to participate in training and developing the movement at the grassroots level.
Senior martial arts master Nguyen Bich Phuong, Vice President of the Provincial Traditional Martial Arts Association, commented that this year's competition showed a clear improvement in martial arts students' skills and competitive spirit.
The martial arts students took a commemorative photo with the Organizing Committee and the Judging Panel of the competition.
Vo Thi Be Di, a martial arts student from the Nam Viet Traditional Martial Arts Club in Bac Lieu ward, who is taking the Level 13 exam, shared: “Being involved with traditional martial arts helps me improve my health, self-defense skills, and learn more about the history and culture of our nation. The training and competition process motivates me to continue improving my skills and participate in more tournaments to gain experience.”
