Nearly 500 Bac Lieu students want to transfer to Ca Mau after the merger

TPO - The Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province has reviewed and found that 457 children and students need to transfer schools to follow their parents, who are officials and civil servants, to Ca Mau to work and study.

On June 14, information from the Departmentof Education and Training ( GD&DT) of Bac Lieu province , the unit has compiled the transfer needs of children of officials, civil servants, and public employees to new workplaces in Ca Mau province, after the merger of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces.

Through screening, there are a total of 457 children and students in need of transferring schools, including: 104 preschool children, 205 primary school students, 137 secondary school students and 11 high school students. These are children of officials, civil servants and public employees who followed their parents to Ca Mau to work when the two provinces merged.

Some schools have many students wanting to transfer schools such as: Nguyen Van Troi Primary School, Vo Thi Sau Secondary School, Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School, Hung Vuong Primary School... These are all schools with good teaching and learning quality in Ca Mau City in recent years.

To facilitate coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province requests that coordinating units continue to review information in the transfer registration list, paying attention to accurately entering the current class and the name of the transfer school.

“For the schools with many students registering to transfer as mentioned above, we request that the units register to add the transfer school (2nd choice) to facilitate school arrangement. After June 18, 2025, units that do not send a response document will be considered as not having adjusted the transfer registration information,” noted the Bac Lieu Department of Education and Training.

After the merger, the total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees (CBCCVC) and unions of Bac Lieu province working in Ca Mau is 1,734 people.
