Nearly 700 million VND in savings "Joining hands for the poor"

BTO-On the afternoon of June 15, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Duc Linh district coordinated with the Women's Union of Duc Linh district to organize for women to participate in depositing savings "Joining hands for the poor" in 2023.

Here, women in Duc Linh district deposited 37 savings books at the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Duc Linh district with a total amount of 670 million VND. This is an activity in response to the program "Mobilizing savings deposits to join hands for the poor" in 2023 with the peak month from June 1-30, 2023 and regularly until the end of 2023. The goal is to mobilize savings in 2023 of at least 5 billion VND.

Mr. Dang Quoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Duc Linh District said: The Women's Union was the first unit in the district to respond to the transaction but soon mobilized cadres and members to deposit nearly 700 million VND. This is a very encouraging result, creating a positive atmosphere in mobilizing capital for the poor. Mr. Thanh added: This June, the Social Policy Bank will continue to coordinate with organizations and People's Committees of communes and towns in the district to mobilize and call on businesses, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of all walks of life to actively participate in depositing savings "Joining hands for the poor" to achieve the best results.
