Nearly 700 athletes participate in the 2025 National Youth Badminton Tournament

The 2025 National Youth Badminton Championships opened on the evening of June 22 in Da Nang, kicking off a week of exciting competition.

This is an annual tournament within the national badminton competition system, aiming to create a playground for professional training and select potential factors for the national youth team. The tournament is the largest ever with nearly 700 athletes from 40 sports delegations of provinces, cities and sectors across the country. Athletes compete in 5 age groups: U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17, competing in singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, in a knockout format.

According to experts, this is a tournament of good quality. At the same time, the tournament is also an opportunity to discover and nurture the next generation of players for the national team in the near future. The tournament ends on June 29.
