
According to a report by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism , international visitors to Ho Chi Minh City in November are estimated at 780,000, bringing the total number of international visitors to Ho Chi Minh City since the beginning of the year to an estimated 7.37 million, reaching 73.79% of the target set for 2025.
In addition, domestic visitors to Ho Chi Minh City in November are estimated at 4.2 million; the total number of domestic visitors to Ho Chi Minh City in 11 months is estimated at 37.28 million, reaching 74.6% of the target set for 2025.
Total tourism revenue in November 2025 is estimated at VND 28,470 billion; bringing total revenue in the first 11 months of the year to VND 233,566 billion, reaching 80.5% of the target set for 2025 (VND 290,000 billion).
In December, the City's tourism industry continued to promote tourism product development. The City's tourism industry focused on implementing tasks of developing culinary tourism and medical tourism products, including continuing to coordinate with wards, communes, and special zones to review and supplement the list of typical restaurants and dishes to complete the City's Culinary Handbook; coordinating with the City's Culinary Association to deploy the contents of organizing the Vegetarian Food Festival in 2025.
Regarding medical tourism, the Department of Tourism continues to coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Health to complete the dossier for implementing the Project on medical tourism development to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the same time, the tourism industry continues to promote events and festivals in Ho Chi Minh City until the end of 2025 with the main activities: Promotion through publications and video clips on flights on all international and domestic routes of Vietnam Airlines; promoting destinations in Ho Chi Minh City through the contest for Excellent Tour Guides in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025 - "Talented Guide".
The Department also focuses on preparing plans to organize events and festivals to attract tourists to Ho Chi Minh City, including: The 5th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week in 2025; The 8th Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon in 2025; famtrip/presstrip delegations to survey Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh City tourist destinations; Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion activities at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in 2025.
The Department of Tourism also plans to build a 3D/360 smart interactive tourism map connecting tourist attractions of 34 provinces and cities; a plan to promote MICE tourism in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025; deploy check-in models to promote Ho Chi Minh City tourism at tourist destinations, public places...
