Thanh Hoa currently has 21,000 operating enterprises. In addition to being the main driving force in creating material volume, contributing to the budget and creating jobs, Thanh Hoa enterprises have been contributing important resources to social security work. These practical activities are joining hands with local Party committees and authorities to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, taking care of the poor and people in difficult circumstances; at the same time, affirming the role and responsibility of enterprises and entrepreneurs to the community.

Leaders and employees of Tien Nong Agricultural and Industrial Joint Stock Company participated in supporting people in the North to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

The recent impact of storm No. 3 caused serious consequences for the people in the North. Immediately after the launch from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Tien Nong Agricultural and Industrial Joint Stock Company called for support from all staff, workers and employees and drew from the company's social security fund to support nearly 1.5 billion VND. Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong, General Director of the Company shared: "In addition to supporting funds with all levels, sectors and people nationwide to support people in the Northern provinces to promptly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, the Company also organized technical staff to support people in reorganizing agricultural production. This is also an action showing the gratitude of the Company to farmers for their support and being customers of the Company during the past time".

In Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district ( Lao Cai ), the entire cost of leveling the resettlement area for the reconstruction of Nu village was also supported by the Love Connection - Spreading Kindness Fund led by businessman Ninh Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Western Rural Development Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, headquartered in Tho Xuan district. Previously, the fund also supported Lao Cai province to level the ground at the project to rebuild the residential area of ​​Nam Tong village, Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha district.

It is known that, just counting the donation campaign to support people affected by the recent storm and flood, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received more than 82 billion VND from groups and individuals; including important contributions from businesses. Along with that, many volunteer trips with motorboats participated in the relief, and necessities were also directly delivered to the people by associations and businesses.

According to the representative of Long Son Cement Company, along with the efforts to generate high revenue, large exports, and increase revenue for the State budget, the company has also participated in and organized many activities to improve the quality of life of the community. From 2018 to present, the company has coordinated with all levels, sectors and local authorities to support the construction of nearly 600 charity houses, "Red Scarf" houses, and solidarity houses in many provinces and cities across the country, such as Thanh Hoa, Soc Trang, Ninh Binh, Long An, An Giang...; contributing to adding motivation to help disadvantaged households have solid housing, gradually stabilize their lives and escape poverty.

In Thanh Hoa, in 2023, the company participated in supporting the construction of houses for people living on the river with a total amount of 9.1 billion VND (50 million/house). Every year, the company also coordinates with the Education Promotion Association of Thanh Hoa and Ninh Binh provinces to award hundreds of scholarships to students in difficult circumstances to encourage and support students on their path of study.

Despite facing numerous difficulties in investment, production and business activities due to the global economic recession and many unfavorable factors in prices and markets; however, with many efforts, in 2024, the business sector's operations will remain relatively stable, with the budget contribution of foreign-invested enterprises estimated at VND 7,850 billion, an increase of 35.1%; the contribution from enterprises in the non-state economic sector is estimated at VND 3,441 billion, an increase of 2.3% compared to 2023...

Thanh Hoa province is continuing to direct the issuance of many guidelines, resolutions, mechanisms, policies, proposing many practical measures and solutions to develop the team of enterprises and entrepreneurs; at the same time, strongly improving the investment and business environment, creating the most favorable conditions for enterprises and entrepreneurs to invest, produce, and do business effectively and creating resources for enterprises to continue to do well in community activities.
