In his opening speech, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil said that according to statistics, there are currently more than 300,000 Vietnamese people who speak and understand Czech, and the Vietnamese community currently living in the Czech Republic has about 100,000 people. They are one of many important factors contributing to the economic development of the Czech Republic.

Affirming the good traditional friendship between the two countries over the past 75 years, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic said that the Czech Republic is like a gateway for Vietnamese goods to enter the European market. In return, Vietnam is the gateway and bridge connecting Czech enterprises to Vietnam and Asia.
Cooperation always focuses on the mutual development of both countries.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders affirmed their readiness to welcome and create favorable conditions for Czech enterprises to invest and do business long-term, and at the same time invited Czech enterprises - with strengths in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry; Information Technology; Renewable Energy and Medical Technology - to cooperate and invest in 5 strategic breakthroughs of Ho Chi Minh City. As of October 2025, the Czech Republic had about 46 investment projects in the City with an investment capital of 91.49 billion USD.
