The coffee trading session just ended this morning, May 22 (Vietnam time) on the London - UK and New York - US exchanges without any drama like recent times and closed with insignificant changes.
Specifically, the price of Robusta coffee for delivery in July 2025 remained unchanged at 4,903 USD/ton; the remaining terms decreased by 1-6 USD/ton, at 4,785 - 4,889 USD/ton.
Arabica coffee price for July 2025 delivery decreased by 10 USD/ton to 8,130 USD/ton.
Yesterday afternoon's domestic coffee price before London trading hours was 125,100 VND/kg, down 1,500 VND/kg compared to the previous day and could also be today's official price.

Vietnam's coffee export situation has fluctuated since May 2025. Since the coffee price fever, this is a rare half-month in which coffee export output has skyrocketed.
According to statistics from the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA), in the first 15 days of May, businesses exported nearly 63,000 tons of Robusta coffee alone, worth nearly 345 million USD; an increase of 83% in volume and 155% in value.
Notably, the market share of foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) has increased sharply to nearly 40% in the green coffee segment, while the average for the year is usually below 30%.
In this cycle, the number 1 green coffee exporting enterprise is also a foreign giant, which is Louis Dreyfus Company Vietnam Trading and Processing Company Limited (LDC).
Two Vietnamese businesses that are usually in the number 1 position, Intimex and Vinh Hiep, have now dropped to the number 3 and number 4 positions.
