Pig price today in the North
After a series of sideways days, the live hog market in the North suddenly adjusted up on May 10, with many localities increasing by 1,000 VND/kg, including:
Hanoi : from 67,000 VND to 68,000 VND/kg
Hung Yen : increased to 68,000 VND/kg
Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang : all up to 68,000 VND/kg
Thanh Hoa, Nghe An: also increased to 68,000 VND/kg
This is the first time in many days that the price of live pigs in the North has increased significantly, bringing the general level closer to the Central region.
Pig price today in the Central Highlands region
The entire Central and Central Highlands regions recorded no price adjustments today. Prices remained stable.
Accordingly, in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai areas: from 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg;
Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh: 70,000 VND/kg; Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan: 72,000 VND/kg
The fact that prices are stable while the North is increasing shows that the Central region is still in a state of holding back, waiting for the domestic consumption market to recover more strongly.
Pig price today in the Southern region
The South continues to maintain stable prices in most localities. However, it is worth noting:
Long An increased sharply to 75,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country.
Provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, An Giang, Ca Mau, Kien Giang, Hau Giang... remain at 73,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.
The group maintaining the 74,000 VND/kg mark includes: Vinh Long, Can Tho, Ben Tre, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Tien Giang
The price increase in Long An is said to be due to sudden demand from some large traders, while supply is locally scarce.
