Specifically, Dabaco Vietnam (DBC) shares increased by 0.8% to VND19,800/share, marking the second consecutive increase, thanks to positive information about pork exports to potential markets such as China and the Philippines.
Masan MEATLife (MML) shares also maintained an increase of 1.2%, closing at VND74,500/share, thanks to the strategy of expanding the distribution system and animal feed production, attracting the attention of investors in the context of signs of recovery in pork prices.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG) shares recorded an increase of 2.3%, reaching VND8,930/share, thanks to the financial report for the first quarter of 2025 showing impressive profit growth from pig farming and fruit growing activities.
On the contrary, some stocks such as Vilico (VLC) and Navetco (VET) had slight adjustments, down 0.5% and 0.7% respectively, due to profit-taking pressure from investors after a strong increase at the end of last week.
In general, livestock stocks are still considered to have potential in the medium and long term thanks to the stability of the domestic consumption market, support policies from the government, and the trend of transforming livestock farming models towards modernity and sustainability.
