On May 27 and 28, 2025, Thanh Hoa Power Company (PC Thanh Hoa) organized a training course on the use of AI applications and improving IT skills for end users for 210 trainees with the aim of improving skills as well as the efficiency of exploiting the IT & VT system for the department doing this work at the level 4 unit under the direct instruction of the Company's IT & VT department and lecturers fromFPT School Thanh Hoa.

Mr. Hoang Duc Hau, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa PC delivered the opening speech of the class.

Speaking at the opening of the class, Deputy Director of PC Thanh Hoa Hoang Duc Hau emphasized the important role of AI technology in the current digital transformation trend, while warning about potential security risks. The practical lesson builds a digital culture, creating a premise for employees to update their knowledge, raise awareness and skills to respond to cyber security risks. Each individual student is required to proactively approach new technology and effectively apply it to practical work.

Within the framework of the program, students have access to typical AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gama, VIDEO GEN..., along with many software supporting the optimization of workflow, text editing, data analysis and automation of office tasks. In addition, students are instructed on regulations on Information Security for end users; how to manage, operate and use welding machines, measuring devices; exploit the Smart EVN system, IT Service desk services and deploy information security policies on end user devices.

Mr. Nguyen Nhat Minh, Vice Principal of FPT School Thanh Hoa and Mr. Thieu Khac Hieu, Head of Telecommunications and Information Technology Department of PC Thanh Hoa exchanged and discussed the use of AI applications and improving IT skills for end users in the classroom.

The class atmosphere was lively, practical and highly interactive, with many discussion questions, case studies and experience sharing from the lecturers and the students themselves. Through the training course, the majority of students expressed satisfaction and appreciated the practical, accessible content that can be applied immediately to daily work. The program also contributed to raising awareness of responsibility in preserving and protecting information and using technology effectively and safely.

The specialized training course on artificial intelligence (AI) and information security is considered a practical step in the strategy of improving the quality of human resources of PC Thanh Hoa, meeting the requirements of digital transformation in the electricity industry. With updated and practical content, the course not only provides basic knowledge about AI but also emphasizes the key role of information security in the management and operation of power systems.

Through discussions and quality assessment tests, 100% of the students grasped new technology trends and understood the importance of protecting data and information in the digital environment. This is an important foundation to help all employees proactively face challenges and be ready to seize the opportunities that the 4.0 industrial revolution brings.
