In the Northern region, after many consecutive days of price increases, the price of live pigs has begun to adjust. Hung Yen and Tuyen Quang decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading around 69,000 VND/kg. Other provinces maintained stable prices. Specifically:
Price 69,000 VND/kg: Hanoi , Bac Giang, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh.
Price 68,000 VND/kg: Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Ha Nam , Nam Dinh, Ha Tinh, Yen Bai, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai.
The decline is considered a technical correction after a rapid price increase in early June.
The Central Highlands region continues to have the highest and most stable price in the country, with no new fluctuations recorded during the day:
Price range 70,000 - 74,000 VND/kg: popular in Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue.
Price level 72,000 - 74,000 VND/kg: recorded in Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan
Prices here have remained stable throughout the week, reflecting balanced supply and demand in the region.
The Southern live pig market recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in many localities compared to yesterday:
Discount: Ho Chi Minh City (73,000 VND/kg), Tay Ninh (74,000 VND/kg), An Giang, Tien Giang, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Hau Giang (73,000 VND/kg)
Stable: Long An, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Dong Thap, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Kien Giang, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau (74,000 VND/kg), Ben Tre (72,000 VND/kg)
The slight decrease shows signs of slowing domestic demand, after a prolonged period of high prices.
With a stable consumption trend and no major fluctuations in supply, pig prices in the North and South are forecasted to continue to adjust slightly in the short term. In particular, the Central Highlands region is likely to maintain a high price level, due to stable livestock costs and consumption demand.
Pork price today
The price of Meat Deli chilled pork from winmart.vn remains stable. Currently, the products are traded in the range of 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg and are discounted 20% according to the preferential program for WinMart members.
Of which, grade 1 ground pork is being sold at 119,922 VND/kg, the lowest price among the products surveyed at WinMart. Next are lean pork thigh, lean pork shoulder and boneless ham, respectively at 122,320 VND/kg, 126,320 VND/kg and 127,922 VND/kg.
According to a survey, pork prices at Ha Hien Fresh Food Company continued to be stable this morning. Currently, pork products are sold at prices ranging from 85,000 - 181,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, the price of pork fat is currently 85,000 VND/kg, the lowest among the surveyed products. Next are two products, lean pork leg and old pork ribs, with prices of 125,000 VND/kg and 128,000 VND/kg, respectively.
