iPhone 16e price continues to drop

In early March, Apple officially launched the iPhone 16e product line in the Vietnamese market. After two months, this model has been continuously discounted by retail systems.

Referring to many authorized Apple dealers in Vietnam, iPhone 16e is currently priced at 15.9 million VND for the 128GB version, 1 million VND lower than the listed price. This is also the lowest price of iPhone 16e since its launch in the Vietnamese market.

Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, media representative of the CellphoneS system, said that the purchasing power of the iPhone 16e has increased significantly compared to previous versions of the iPhone SE. However, the sales of this device are still not comparable to models in the iPhone 16 product line.

In the same segment, the iPhone 16e is currently competing with its own "homegrown" model, the iPhone 15. Specifically, the iPhone 15 is also offered by dealers at a price of 15.9 million VND for the 128GB version.

It can be seen that the iPhone 15 stands out thanks to its youthful, colorful design, Dynamic Island screen, and dual camera cluster. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16e has a powerful A18 chip, supports the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence toolkit, and has better battery life.

A report from market research firm Counterpoint Research said that the iPhone 16e helped Apple's sales grow strongly in the first quarter. The company recorded double-digit growth in a series of other regions such as Japan, India, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia.

The iPhone 16e is currently Apple's cheapest iPhone model that supports the Apple Intelligence suite. This product line was developed by the company to replace the previous iPhone SE.

"iPhone 16e will be suitable for users who love a device with strong performance, good battery life and want to experience Apple Intelligence. Of course, users will have to make trade-offs when the device is only equipped with one camera and has a relatively old design," said Mr. Nguyen Van Giau, representative of the My Mobile system.
