Gia Lai restarts golf course project with total investment of up to 1,150 billion VND.

The Dak Doa Golf Course, developed on 171 hectares in Dak Doa commune, Gia Lai province, is a 36-hole golf course divided into three zones, complete with an internal road system and service area.

On December 15th, news from the Provincial People's Committee Office indicated that provincial leaders had signed Decision No. 3024/QD-UBND approving the investment plan for the Dak Doa golf course project in Dak Doa commune with a total capital of over 1,150 billion VND.

The Dak Doa Golf Course is a 36-hole golf course divided into three zones, complete with internal roads and service areas.

According to Gia Lai provincial leaders, the project aims to create an international standard golf course complex combined with sports, entertainment, and tourism services, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

The project contributes to attracting investment projects for the construction and upgrading of technical infrastructure in the western part of Gia Lai province, helping to complete the local architectural and landscape development orientations, and simultaneously addressing the employment needs of local workers.

The Gia Lai provincial leaders also instructed the investor to closely coordinate with military units stationed in the area to resolve related issues within the project scope to avoid affecting military and national defense duties; to obtain the consensus of local people on issues of social welfare, environmental impact, and compensation for land clearance, and to prevent complaints and lawsuits during project implementation.

At the same time, closely coordinate with specialized agencies of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to inspect and monitor, ensuring that no cultural elements or heritage (if any are detected) in the area and surrounding areas are affected.

The project will be put out to tender to select an investor and is expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2029.

Previously, at the end of 2021, this golf course project was launched but only some components were completed, and the project has been stalled until today.
