In terms of rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 380 rice (fresh) decreased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,600 - 5,900 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) decreased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,400 - 5,700 VND/kg; the price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,200 - 6,400 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,900 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuated at 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, sources are low, transactions are slow, and prices are on a downward trend. In Dong Thap, summer-autumn rice prices are stable, with few transactions. In An Giang, the amount of early-cut summer-autumn rice is low, transactions are slow, and rice prices are stable. In Long An, farmers offer stable prices, new transactions are slow, and most have already deposited, and prices are stable. In Kien Giang, summer-autumn rice prices are stagnant, with few transactions.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently OM 380 raw rice increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,950 - 8,050 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice fluctuated at 8,200 - 8,250 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuated at 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuated at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuated at 9,600 - 9,750 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuated at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

For by-products, the price of by-products ranges from 7,150 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, OM 5451 broken rice ranges from 7,350 - 7,450 VND/kg; bran price ranges from 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, the supply of 50404, OM 380 varieties is low, transactions are slow, prices are stable. In An Giang, the amount of rice is coming in gradually, warehouses are buying gradually, prices are stable with good rice. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is in a drizzle, all types of rice are stable.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), low volume, large warehouses select good rice, buy slowly, stable price. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), volume is better, buying and selling transactions are slow, price is stable.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 398 USD/ton (up 1 USD/ton); 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 323 USD/ton.
