Latest pepper price news today 6/16/2025

The pepper market has been witnessing stable developments over the past week. Pepper prices have been moving sideways, indicating that the market is entering a period of adjustment, carefully observing macroeconomic trends and purchasing power from import markets.

Domestic output is no longer at its peak as in 2020–2022, and supply pressure has significantly decreased. However, factors such as difficulties in international transportation, high logistics costs, and demand from China – a major consumer market – have not yet fully recovered, preventing prices from rising.

Experts say that if positive signals from the EU, the US and the Middle East improve in the third quarter, pepper prices are likely to see a new wave of increase. In the short term, the sideways trend will still be dominant, with a narrow range of fluctuations.
