
The section of DH1 Tay Truong Giang road from self-managed group No. 10 to 13 Van Tay village has been deployed by the Veterans Association of Binh Trieu commune to build a self-managed CCB road "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" with a length of 1km from March 2023 to present.
On this route, cadres and members of the War Veterans Association of Binh Trieu commune mobilized people to install 55 propaganda billboards, plant bougainvillea and yellow Osaka trees along the road; at the same time, mobilized members to contribute funds to install 7 self-managed security cameras.
Mr. Pham Van Luyen, a member of the Veterans Association of Van Tay village, contributed 2 Osaka trees and many working days to build this self-managed route. He said: “I, like the people here, want to build a beautiful, safe route for people to travel conveniently, while ensuring security and order.”
Mr. Nguyen Tan Quang - Chairman of the Association of War Veterans in Binh Trieu commune said that the total cost of building the road is nearly 60 million VND contributed by members and people.

For the CCB's self-managed security camera system, it is not only integrated with the security camera system of the Commune Police but also shared and installed for all people on the road to monitor, track, and promptly report to local authorities when there are unusual incidents.
Not only stopping at Vay Tay village, in recent times, the Association of War Veterans of Binh Trieu commune has also built many more self-managed "Bright - green - clean - beautiful" war veteran roads in Hung My village with a length of 1.8km; Phuoc Am village 700m; Phuoc Chau village 500m with a total cost of nearly 170 million VND.
In addition, the Veterans Associations of Binh Trieu commune maintain a revolving capital contribution model, operating on a voluntary, interest-free basis, under the supervision of the Veterans Association of the commune to support each other in times of need.

Each revolving capital contribution group has from 10 to 12 members contributing from 500 thousand VND to 1 million VND/month and drawing lots to withdraw money in order. In special cases, if a member in the group encounters sudden difficulties, he/she will receive capital first.
The revolving capital contribution group of the Phuoc Am Village Veterans Association has had 12 members participating for 5 years now. On the 5th of the month, members participate in contributing and withdrawing capital for necessary use.
“Not only does it provide capital for economic development, but through capital contributions, group members also unite, join forces, care and share with each other to build a prosperous and happy family,” said Mr. Cao Van Hung, Head of the Association of War Veterans in Phuoc Am village (Binh Trieu commune).
