News, forecast of pepper price tomorrow June 18, 2025 continues the downward trend domestically and internationally

Domestic market on June 18, 2025

Based on the continuous downward trend in the last two sessions, the possibility that pepper prices tomorrow (June 18) will continue to maintain the downward trend is very high. Specifically:

In the Central Highlands: Large growing regions such as Gia Lai and Dak Lak may see pepper prices drop by another VND500 to VND1,000/kg if there is no improvement in purchasing power from key players.

In the Southeast: Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc regions may drop to nearly 134,000 VND/kg if the volume of exported goods increases suddenly.

The general situation shows that the market is under pressure from rapidly increasing supply while output remains stagnant. Without intervention from large purchasing enterprises or positive signals from the international market, pepper prices will hardly recover in the short term.

International market on June 18, 2025

The forecast for pepper prices in the international market on June 18 may not be very optimistic. Many factors such as the global supply-demand situation and barriers in signing long-term contracts may continue to put pressure on pepper prices. Without improvement from major markets, global pepper prices may remain the same or decrease slightly.

Advice for pepper growers

In the context of pepper prices trending downward, growers need to closely monitor market developments and consider the appropriate time to sell. Avoid selling off when prices are at record lows and consider stockpiling if conditions permit. Cooperating with cooperatives or stable consumption chains will help farmers minimize risks during periods of strong market fluctuations.
