News, pepper price forecast tomorrow June 21, 2025 temporarily adjusts the price

Domestic market on June 21, 2025

Domestic pepper prices are likely to remain stable or fluctuate slightly within the range of 100 - 300 VND/kg compared to today. The main reasons are:

High inventories, farmers take profits: Mid-June is considered the period when many pepper growers start to sell off their inventory. When seeing prices remain stable for many days, some growers have a "clearance" mentality, creating a sudden surge in supply while demand from export enterprises has not recovered.

Pressure from international markets: The continuous decline in major producing countries has caused average export prices to fall. Enterprises are forced to adjust domestic purchasing prices to balance costs.

Short-term panic: With a drop of 5,000 - 6,000 VND/kg in just one session, many growers are worried that prices may fall even further. This mentality causes the supply to be pushed to the market too quickly, creating a downward spiral of prices.

International market on June 21, 2025

After a deep decline, the international market tends to pause to find a new balance. Forecast:

Positive scenario: Pepper price will remain at 127,500 - 129,000 VND/kg if selling pressure from growers slows down and the international market is stable.

Negative scenario: If international exchanges continue to decline, pepper prices could fall to VND126,000/kg in the short term. However, according to industry experts, the current decline is a technical adjustment and does not reflect a supply or demand crisis, so there are no signs of a prolonged decline.
