Gold prices continue to fall sharply

This morning (January 15), domestic gold prices continued to fall sharply. Accordingly, gold prices fell deeply to the mark of 85 - 86 million VND/tael.

Saigon Jewelry Company listed price SJC gold bars 84.4 - 86.4 million VND/tael for buying and selling, down 400,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday morning.

Gold price SJC bars at many other businesses also fell to 86.4 million VND/tael such as: Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, Phu Nhuan Gold and Gemstone Joint Stock Company. The buying price of gold bars of these businesses differed by 400,000 VND/tael.

Mi Hong gold system alone listed the lowest price of SJC gold bars in the market at 84.7 - 85.7 million VND/tael.

SJC gold price dropped sharply by nearly half a million VND/tael.

Price gold ring The price of gold bars also decreased. Phu Quy Jewelry Group listed the price of gold rings at 84.5 - 86 million VND/tael, down 200,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday morning.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed the price of gold rings at 84.85 - 86.35 million VND/tael, down 250,000 VND/tael.

Mi Hong gold system also reduced the price of gold rings to 84.6 - 85.7 million VND/tael.

This morning, world gold price listed at 2,675 USD/ounce, up 8 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning.

On the currency market on the morning of January 15, Bank The State listed the central exchange rate at 24,346 VND/USD, an increase of 3 VND/USD.

Commercial banks continued to increase the buying and selling prices of USD compared to yesterday morning. Specifically, exchange rate USD at Vietcombank listed buying - selling price of USD at 25,173 - 25,563 VND/USD, increased 3 VND/USD for buying and selling.

BIDV listed the USD buying and selling prices at 22,203 - 25,563 VND/USD, an increase of 5 VND/USD for buying and selling.

The USD price on the free market is around 25,631 - 25,731 VND/USD.
