The 4th Nguyen Mai Journalism Award will be presented on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism.

(CLO) On November 4, the Organizing Committee of the Nguyen Mai Journalism Award in Ca Mau province held a meeting to discuss the plan for implementing the Award in the coming time.


At the meeting, there were many comments from members regarding regulations in the award structure, estimated award budget, expected time to receive works, meeting of the judging council, as well as time to announce and award prizes.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan, Head of the Award Organizing Committee, emphasized: All regulations are in the issued award regulations, members of the Organizing Committee need to study and carefully review the regulations, as well as the budget to be consistent with the general spirit of the regulations.

Any issues or regulations that are not suitable, if necessary, must be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for adjustment in order to promptly apply them to the actual conditions and scale of this award on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press. After discussing and reaching an agreement at this meeting, the Journalists Association will synthesize and complete them and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for early implementation.

It is expected that the Judging Council will consider and select in February 2025, announce the award results in March 2025 and present the awards on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press (June 21, 2025).
