The 19th Northern Provinces and Cities Party Newspaper Table Tennis Tournament gathered nearly 50 athletes

This is a traditional sports tournament hosted by the Party Newspapers of the Northern provinces and cities. This competition is hosted by Thai Nguyen Newspaper, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Nguyen.

The 19th Northern Provincial and Municipal Party Newspaper Table Tennis Tournament gathered nearly 50 athletes who are leaders, officials, reporters, editors, and staff from 10 Party newspaper agencies, including: Hanoi Moi, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Bac Kan , Lang Son, Hoa Binh, Hai Duong, and Thai Nguyen.

During the two competition days of August 17 and 18, athletes competed in 9 events in a round-robin format, including: Men's singles, men's doubles, men's team, women's team, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

The Northern Provinces and Cities Party Newspaper Table Tennis Tournament contributes to expanding and strengthening the relationship, solidarity, learning and exchanging experiences in journalism between local Party newspaper agencies. At the same time, it helps to improve the cultural and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants and workers at press agencies; promoting the emulation movement to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
