2025 National Volleyball Championship: 16 teams compete for prizes of over 2 billion VND

The Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation announced the schedule for the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. Accordingly, the first phase of the tournament will take place from March 22 to March 31 at Dong Anh District Gymnasium - Hanoi. The second phase and the final round will take place from October 10 to October 19 at Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium.

The tournament has 2 categories for men and women. The 8 men's volleyball teams competing in the tournament are Border Guard MB, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Da Nang, Hanoi, LaVie Long An, LP Bank Ninh Binh, Sanest Khanh Hoa and The Cong Tan Cang. The women's tournament brings together 8 teams including Geleximco Thai Binh , Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals, LP Bank Ninh Binh, Ho Chi Minh City, Thong tin Dong Bac, Vietin Bank, VTV Binh Dien Long An and Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement.

This is the top tournament in the national competition system. In addition, the national championship is also the basis for the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to evaluate the capacity and prepare the national teams for the 33rd SEA Games and other important international tournaments in 2025.

The total prize value of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship is 2.28 billion VND. Of which, the two champion teams of the men's and women's categories will receive 500 million VND each. The second-place teams will receive 300 million VND, the third-place teams will receive 200 million VND. The fourth-place team will receive 100 million VND. In addition, the organizing committee will award a number of individual prizes of 10 million VND to outstanding athletes, coaches and referees.
