The quarter-finals of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament taking place tonight (October 30) in Ha Tinh have determined the 4 men's and 4 women's teams that have qualified for the semi-finals.

In the women's category of the national A-class volleyball tournament, there were no big surprises when 4 strong teams with good investment in personnel and promotion ambitions, namely Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , and Thai Nguyen, all won the right to enter the semi-finals.

In the quarter-finals, the Hanoi team easily won 3-0 against Phu Tho. Quang Ninh, with the excellence of Vi Thi Nhu Quynh, also overcame the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team with a score of 3-0. Bac Ninh also defeated Hai Phong with a score of 3-0 while the most exciting quarter-final match was the 3-2 victory of the Thai Nguyen team over the Information Corps youth team.

Thus, in the women's category, the two semi-final pairs taking place tomorrow have been determined as follows: Hanoi meets Thai Nguyen in the first semi-final at 4:00 p.m., Quang Ninh meets Bac Ninh at 6:00 p.m. If there are no big surprises, it is likely that the Hanoi and Quang Ninh teams will win the right to enter the final to compete for a place in the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.

In the men's category, the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament also determined 2 semi-final pairs between host Ha Tinh and Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh Long. These 2 matches are considered quite balanced, promising fierce and attractive competition. Vinh Long team with the participation of Nguyen Van Quoc Duy and the home team Ha Tinh with Thai foreign player Assanaphan promises to make a difference against their opponents in the semi-finals. In the men's tournament, only 1 team will be selected to play in the 2026 National Championship.
