Ha Tinh is considered the top candidate for the championship as well as promotion. On the opening day, this team won convincingly 3-0 against the Mobile Police Command.

With their current form and home field advantage, Duc Hanh and his teammates are aiming for victory against TP.HCM.

Opening of the group stage of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament

VHO - On the evening of April 6, at Kon Tum Provincial Gymnasium, the Vietnam Sports Administration (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum province and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation held the Opening Ceremony of the Group Stage of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Tournament.

In women's group D, Phu Tho will have a notable match with Hai Phong , while Quang Ninh will have a predicted difficult match against Thai Nguyen.

The 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship finals aim to determine which men's and women's teams will be promoted to next year's season.

The tournament had the participation of 15 teams (7 men, 8 women). Of which, 7 men's teams included: Vinh Long, Ha Tinh, Mobile Police Command, Binh Duong Construction Materials, Military Zone 3, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang Youth.

The eight women's teams are: Quang Ninh, Young Soldiers of the Information Corps, Young VTV Binh Dien Long An, Phu Tho, IMP Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi and Hai Phong.

In each men's and women's category, teams are divided into two groups to compete in a round robin to calculate points and rank.

Then the teams compete cross-over, thereby determining the 4 strongest teams in each event to enter the semi-finals and finals.

The two winning men's and women's teams will advance to the national championship next year.

According to the schedule, the group stage matches will take place from October 23 to 28, and the finals will take place from October 29 to November 1.

The matches at the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship Finals will be broadcast live on ON Sports channel and VTVprime application.
